"Empowering Voices: A Special Lecture on Women and Electoral Politics in India
The Dept. of Political Science, BD College, held a lecture on "Women and Electoral Politics in India." Principal Prof. Ratna Amrit emphasized empowerment, while keynote Prof. Sanjay Kumar (CSDS) discussed barriers. Chaired by Dr. Sarita Kumari, the panel featured Prof. Sita Sinha and Dr. Mukesh Kumar Rai. Moderated by Dr. Aparajita, the event saw high engagement and ended with Dr. Vijay Shankar Vikram’s vote of thanks.

International Human Rights Day 2025 Observed at B.D. College, Patna
The Political Science Department of B.D. College, Patna, successfully organized a program to commemorate International Human Rights Day 2025. The program was led by Principal Prof. Ratna Amrit. Garima Malik, IPS, IG, Vigilance, Bihar, attended the event as the chief guest and speaker. Dr. Vijay Shankar Vikram of the Political Science Department moderated the program. On this occasion, approximately 200 Political Science students participated in forming a human chain.
