Pali Department conducted धम्मपद recitation and practice session at the college on December 13, 2025
As per the previously scheduled program, the Pali Department held a धम्मपद recitation and practice session at the college on December 13, 2025. The second chapter of the धम्मपद, the अप्पमादवग्ग, was recited. Students also had an internal assessment scheduled for the day, and the practice session was held before the test. Dr. Rahul Amritraj, Head of the Pali Department, inaugurated the program with a Buddhist prayer and encouraged students to study.

In the Pali Department the recitation of the Yamakavagga was organized under the Dhammapada recitation
In accordance with a previous decision by the Pali Department, the Yamakavagga recitation, part of the Dhammapada recitation program, was successfully organized on November 29, 2025. All students of the department actively participated in this academic and spiritually significant event, with mandatory attendance. The program's purpose was to encourage students to study and develop a deep interest in Pali literature, especially the Dhammapada.

Internship programme (2025)
The internship program for the 5th semester students of Hindi, Sanskrit, Pali, and Maithili subjects of BD College, under the Bihar Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, began on November 1st and was successfully completed within the stipulated timeframe. Teachers from all subjects were present at the closing ceremony, encouraging and guiding the students with love.
