On the occasion of World Hindi Day, the Hindi Department organized lectures, a quiz competition, speeches, and poetry recitation. Teachers from various departments and students from both major and minor programs actively participated in the event. Professor Shatrughna Sharan Singh added a special touch to the program by presenting the Mauritian national anthem, "Sundar Subhumi Bhaiya," in his captivating voice.

Guest Lecture at Patna Women's College on World Hindi Day
On the occasion of World Hindi Day, a special guest lecture was organized at Patna Women’s College. Dr. Amit Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Hindi, B. D. College, spoke on “Identity and Possibilities on the Global World Stage.” He highlighted Hindi’s global presence, its growth through the digital age, and encouraged youth to link Hindi with global opportunities, strengthening India’s cultural identity worldwide.

The Hindi Department organized a poetry recitation competition on November 27, 2025, to mark Harivansh Rai Bachchan's birth anniversary. Many students from all semesters gave excellent performances. Professors from other departments also attended to encourage the students.
