B.D. College, Patna Department of Geography held "Sustainable Living" events. Principal Prof. Ratna Amrit, Dr. Diwakar Pandey Coordinator IQAC, Dr. Garima Pathak & Dr. Aprajita joined the Eco-Art & Plantation drive. HoD Kumari Nisha Rani with Dr. Manisha Priyambada, Dr. Monika Kumari, Dr. Sudhir Kumar, Ms. Krittika Mukherjee & Nanda Singh led the Wetlands/Polar Bear Day events. Students decorated pots & planted saplings to promote a Green Campus via creative environmental stewardship.

On January 29, 2026, the P.G. Dept. of Geography held a pot decoration contest on Environmental Diversity. HOD Kumari Nisha Rani opened the event alongside Dr. Manisha Priyambada, Dr. Sudhir Kumar, and Ms. Krittika Mukherjee. Winners:1st: Sweety Kumari 2nd: Trisha & Ragini 3rd: Suruchi & Sahab Babu & Participants: Sweta, Aditya, Khushi, Monu, Mahip, Shivam, and Shubham. Students creatively promoted nature conservation with great zeal.

The PG Department of Geography celebrated Geography Awareness on date 29/11/2025 Week on the theme 'Making Spaces of Possibility' and organized a 'Geo Talk' Session to highlight the importance of conserving our planet's resources and promoting a sustainable future. The session was headed by Head Kumari Nisha Rani. Faculty members Dr. Monika Kumari, Dr. Sudhir Kumar, and Miss Krittika Mukherjee were present. Students participated enthusiastically in this session and shared their ideas.
