Cleanliness Drive Organized at N.S.S B.D. College, Patna
Guided by Principal Prof. Ratna Amrit, B.D. College NSS Unit organized a Cleanliness Drive from the campus to Dayanand Vidyalaya. Activities included a street play on hygiene, a thematic dance on water conservation, and community interaction on sustainability. The successful event was coordinated by NSS Programme Officer Mr. Vishal Vijay, supported by NCC Officer Mr. Rahul Kumar and volunteers Sachin Raj, Ritika Tiwari, and Kritika Mukherjee.

NSS volunteers from B.D.College, Patna (Patliputra University) departed for the prestigious National Integration Camp (NIC) 2026. The camp runs from 22nd to 28th Feb 2026 at Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar. Led by NSS Programme Officer Mrs. Neetu Tiwari, the team includes Jyoti Kumari, Priyanshu Pandey, and five other selected students proudly representing their college at this national event.

B.D. College, Patna, celebrated Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti with a speech competition at the MCA Hall. Principal Prof. Ratna Amrit paid floral tributes and discussed Netaji’s legacy. Amisha Sinha and Riya Kumari won first place, followed by Aman Raj Sahni (2nd), and Ananya Rai and Suhani Kumari (3rd). Coordinated by Dr. Amit Kumar and Mr. Vishal Vijay, the NSS event saw active faculty participation and ended with a vote of thanks, honoring Netaji’s contribution to India’s freedom.

This was the college's first formal program after the subject was approved for inclusion in the curriculum by Patliputra University. The chief guest was Mr. Anand Kishore, IAS, Chairman, BSEB and ACS, Finance Department Govt. of Bihar. Also present were Prof.Abu Bakar Rizvi, Registrar, PPU and other academic officials. Principal Prof. Ratna Amrit delivered the welcome address.

A skit competition and RRC talk were successfully organized at Bapu Tower
A skit competition and RRC talk were successfully organized at Bapu Tower under the joint auspices of the BSACS and B.D. College, Patna under the guidance of Principal Prof. Ratna Amrit.The NCC unit of B.D. College, Patna, won the first prize in the skit competition for its outstanding performance. In the RRC talk session, Sanjeevani Singh received the first prize for her informative and impactful presentation.The objective of this program was to spread awareness among young people.

B.D. College showcased their creativity and innovation by decorating the college campus using the "Best out of Waste" technique
The students collected old items and scrap materials and transformed them into attractive decorative pieces, eco-friendly showpieces, and Christmas trees. On this occasion, the college principal, Professor Ratna Amrit, addressed the students and the community, saying, "The way our students are conveying the message of creativity and environmental protection through 'waste to wealth' is truly inspiring." Professor Nupur Bose, advisor of the IQAC at B.D. College, was also present on the occasion.

The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of BD College departed December 11, 2025 for the seven-day National Service Camp (December 11-17) at Parivartan, Narendrapur (Siwan). Forty college students are participating in the camp. The team is led by NSS coordinator Vishal Vijay and Assistant Professor Dr. Swarna Kumar of the Ancient History Department. B D College Principal Professor Ratna Amrit flagged off the team in two buses and provided necessary instructions for the camp.
