Sri Bhuvaneshwari Dayal
Late Bhuvneshwari Dayal was born into an educated family on July 11, 1905, in Bihar. He was a teacher at a government high school in Maner, located on the outskirts of Patna district. Throughout his life, he lived with grace and dignity. He remained the epitome of simplicity, sacrifices, inspiration, and commitment to the cause of education and high values in life.
Though he preferred a life of celibacy, he was extravagantly generous to dole out his post-superannuation benefits for
the cause of education. B.D. College, Patna, previously known as B.D. College, came into being in 1970
with the charity money of the revered soul, Late Bhuneshwari Dayal.
